Apology
It is my sincerest apology
that I have not been frequently updating new articles for the past few months.
It is my honest opinion that this nation will shortly fall into
a time of great tribulation (my guess is possibly September/October 2009). I believe this great tribulation
will occur as a result of an economic, political, or natural disaster, or as a result of war, or a combination of any or all
of the afore mentioned.
At our ministry here in Mina, Nevada we have always maintained a food bank, clothing, bedding, etc. to have the ability
to provide assistance to anyone who finds themselves in a destitute situation. However, in light of what we believe is an
upcoming major event in a very large scale, we have determined to better prepare ourselves.
As of early this spring we not only
began preparing and planting our regular thirty by forty foot yearly garden, we also purchased a quantity of chickens and
ducks (for meat and eggs) and built a chicken coop and pen. Also this year our son purchased a lot beside
of our ministry and a small tractor, and I am de-rocking, leveling, and preparing the soil (still have to fence it) for a
fifty by ninety foot 2nd garden to be planted next spring. We have planted two fruit trees (more coming), grape vines, and
raspberry bushes.
Jean (my wife) also has taken the position of manager
and senior advocate at our area Senior center. As one can see we have been extremely busy this year.
It is our sincere hope that late fall or early winter (after harvest and canning) we can once again devote more time
to this website and share information with you all. Unfortunately until that time updates and new articles
will be sporadic. For those of you who keep checking in and reading at the website we thank you for your
interest and we appreciate your patience.
We have and always will find time to answer and correspond with those who stop by, write, e-mail, or phone us. We
value your friendship!
